Young Family Programs

Holiday Celebrations
Sukkot • Simchat Torah • Hanukkah • Purim

Celebrate with gusto! We know that our young children need to get up and move. It is too much to ask of them to sit through services and sermons. Our Young Family Holidays are all designed with that in mind.

From special stories with our rabbis and songs that are familiar, kids are welcome to bounce, sing and celebrate their way through the Jewish year. A picnic on Sukkot, dancing with the Torah on Simchat Torah and a costume parade on Purim add to the fun. And of course, friends, parents and grandparents are encouraged to join in these celebrations that are just for you.

Bim-Bom Shabbat Services

The first Friday of each month is Family Shabbat at Temple Aliyah!  Join us for a different themed Bim-Bom Shabbat service at 5:30pm on the first Friday of the month, geared toward preschool-aged families.  Stay for a delicious family-friendly Shabbat dinner (RSVP Required) following Bim-Bom Services.  If your children are elementary-aged, we encourage you to come for dinner at 5:45pm and stay for Family Services at 6:30pm.  Check the calendar for more details
