Rabbinic Search

February 8, 2019
Dear Temple Aliyah Congregants and Friends,

Over the last three years, Rabbi Goldstein has made tremendous contributions to Temple Aliyah. He has developed many close relationships with our congregants and has become a valuable part of our community.

Recently, Rabbi Goldstein let me know that he is applying for a non-pulpit position with an organization (he would like to keep the identity of that organization confidential at this time). Rabbi Goldstein is not applying for this position because he does not want to continue as Temple Aliyah’s Second Rabbi. Rather, he sees this other position as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that he simply needs to explore.

Therefore, we will initiate the process of searching for a second rabbi. I have formed a Search Committee chaired by Adrienne Crane-Ross and the committee (Andy Shpall – Co Chair, Sean Luner, Phil Ganz, Beth Saltz, Darren Sarto, Beth Shaevitz, Sarah Davis, Debbie Strom, and Julie Davine) has begun this process. We will keep you apprised of the search and inform you when candidates will be at Temple Aliyah for their interview weekend. We hope that you will join us and get to know the candidates.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions.  Please continue scrolling as you will find candidate information, schedules, and a feedback form below.  We look forward to your input!

B’Shalom,
Julie Davine
