Offered in place of the traditional late service, MAKOR is a shorter, less formal service based on the themes of the High Holy Days, reaching into our depths and stirring our souls to be better in the coming year.

The service will be moving and spiritual, with beautiful music, drumming, and an interactive sermon.

When and Where is MAKOR?

MAKOR is replacing our traditional Late Service on the first day of Rosh Hashanah. It will be at 1:15pm on Monday, September 30th in the sanctuary. All other Late Services will remain traditional, as in the past.

I’d like to attend!

We’d love to have you! Your High Holy Day ticket is all you need! Whether you’re holding an Early, Late or Family Service ticket, you will be able to attend MAKOR.  Non-members may purchase tickets to our Late and Family Services (both of which will include entry to the MAKOR service), and learn more about all of our High Holy Day offerings.

I have tickets for the Late Service but prefer to attend a traditional service.

No problem. Our security and ushers will gladly welcome you to the early service on the first day of Rosh Hashanah, even if you’re holding a late service ticket.
