High Holy Day Childcare and Children’s Programming

  • Parents must be on premises while children are at these programs.
  • For the safety of your children, children may only be signed in or out of the program by a parent or guardian.
  • Please be aware that even though the sanctuary services may begin earlier and end later, we can provide supervision and programming only at the times listed below.
  • The time your children attend programming must correspond with your High Holy Day tickets. i.e. If you have early service tickets, then your child can ONLY attend programming during the early service.

ECE’s Camp Tekiah (18mo – 5 years old)

Each day will be filled with fun projects, such as challah baking, playdough, bubble play, block building and music, as well as sports, fitness and other enrichment activities.
$36 total per child, includes all days and activities

SCJLL’s Camp Tekiah Gedolah (K – 6th Grade)

Each day, children will participate in engaging activities such as art, baking, music, and drama as they explore the richness of the customs and traditions of the High Holy Days. The program will also include a musical children’s service.

Wherever You Go, There’s Always Someone Jewish (Rosh Hashanah – Late Service Only)

This new, engaging program will take us on a “hike” up Eilat Street to get to know our synagogue community (and clergy!)

Teens (Grades 9-12)

Jewish Teen Experience (JTE)

JTE is a new two-fold experience for high school teens this High Holy Day season. For half of the time, they will volunteer* as madrichim, working as counselors in the children’s program. Then, teens will come together for a discussion about what the High Holy Days mean to teens in 2019. *May fulfill community service hours.
